DIY: How To Make Ribbon Dahlia Flower

Dahlia flowers have many varieties. Some have rounded petals, others have pointed ones. In this earlier TUTORIAL , we used paper as our material. We also used a different technique giving the petals a rounded look. This time, we will use satin ribbons and a different method.
Satin Ribbons
Glue Gun and Glue Stick
Felt Cloth
1.      Prepare the ribbons. Cut into three inches long.

2.      Fold the ribbon midway. Please be guided by photos 3-7.
3.      Prepare the base. I used felt circle.

4.      Assemble the flowers by gluing the petals starting at the edge of the circle.
5.      Continue until you have three layers. Once you reach the top (4th),
use shorter ribbons (two inches). These will give you smaller petals.
You will need 6 pieces.

6.      Finish the flower with pearls or any accent you have available
like crystals, brooch, buttons etc.
