DIY: How To Make a Paper Peony Flower

I am completing  a set of bouquets   and corsages and these peonies will be added to the arrangements. I love the shabby chic look of peonies and I'm sure they will look lovely added to our wooden flowers.
Glue gun and stick
Floral Wire and Floral Tape (For the stem)
1. Cut the petals.
2. Wrinkle the petals. Check the steps on how to wrinkle the petals HERE .
3. Make a cone using one petal. Add two more petals
to complete the center.
4. Continue adding the petals until you achieve the desired look of your peony.
5. For this project I used 50 petals. You can use bigger or smaller petals,
as many or as few depending on how open or closed you
want the peonies to be.
6. Insert the stamen at the center. (Attached to the stem)
7. Secure with glue at the bottom of the flower. Wrap stem with floral tape
