DIY: How To Make a Paper Ranunculus Using Vintage Book Pages

Making a paper ranunculus may take a lot of time but definitely worth it. For this project, I used old book pages. Next time, I will use colored paper and  will not wrinkle the petals. I'll post the outcome soon.
MATERIALS
Vintage Book Pages
Glue Gun and Stick
Tissue Paper
Thread

STEPS
(click photos to enlarge)
To achieve a curved base, cut the bottom (narrower end) of each petal 
about 1/3 of the way up. Overlap the two flaps then secure with glue.
