DIY: How To Decoupage Wood Beads With Vintage Maps

Decoupage wood beads with vintage maps. Make jewelries out of  them or simply use them as bowl fillers and other decorative purposes you can think of.

MATERIALS
Vintage Maps
White Glue (watered down)
Wood Beads
Varnish/Glaze
Sandpaper

STEPS
1.       Tear the maps into small pieces.

2.       Apply decoupage medium to the beads and start gluing the torn maps. You may use tweezers to pick and adhere the tiny bits of paper.

3.       Use your fingers, craft stick or chopstick to smoothen the lumps. Make sure to get rid of all the bubbles.

4.       Brush another layer of glue on top of the images. Let dry.

5.       Glaze with varnish. Let dry. Sand to get rid of bumps.

6.       Repeat step 5 at least five times.
